This coffee is rated AA, meaning the biggest, highest grade of coffee that Zambia produces. These beans are a blend of varietals from the top producers, creating a more balanced, consistent flavour. Zambian coffee works well at lighter roasts, yielding a coffee that has a strong sweetness that gets balanced with a notable lemony aftertaste that doesn’t come off as acidic. Roasting it darker will yield beans that are perfect for espresso, with a full, round body and a classic lemon zest finish.
