MamaCoffee was founded in Prague in 2008 by Marta and Daniel Kolský, inspired by a trip to southern Ethiopia, and was among the first fair-trade coffee roasteries in Central Europe. The company now runs seven cafés in Prague and founded the Prague Coffee Festival in 2011.
