Otten Coffee was founded in 2014 in Medan by campus mates Robin Boe and Jhoni Kusno, opening as Otten Coffee House selling Sumatran beans (gayo, sidikalang, lintong, mandheling). The company began roasting its own coffee, expanded into an online store and equipment retail, and now exports to markets including Korea, Japan, Singapore, the US and Germany.
