Our Half Caff blend combines the caffeinated and decaffeinated versions of Sembradores de Vida, a coffee from Ortega, Cauca, that represents coffee's ability to create change. The name translates to 'Sowers of Life.' In a region historically shaped by conflict and coca production, this association gives farmers a better option: training, education, direct market access, and a path toward stability. The goal isn't exclusion, but rather it's making coffee the obvious choice. We've worked with this group for five years, and the quality improves with every harvest.The decaf portion is processed in Colombia using ethyl acetate, preserving value at origin and character in the cup. The resulting blend gives chocolate, caramel, and apricot notes.
