Root and Branch was founded in Belfast in 2016 and runs both a roastery and a small group of cafes across the city — including sites on Ormeau Road and in the Cathedral Quarter. The team focuses on light-to-medium seasonal single-origins (current lineup includes an El Eucalipto from Peru) and a tightly-edited core espresso lineup, with most coffee shipped within two weeks of roast. They're the modern Belfast counterweight to Bailies' legacy.
