In Peru, the landscape is perfect for coffee, with steep mountain ridges, deep rainforest and fresh ocean air. They have been growing coffee here since the 18th century. The coffee berries are hand-picked, and many of the farmers transport the coffee on foot or by mule. Organic coffee production has made the country an important player in the coffee world.
