It was the 80s that Inácio Carlos Urban acquired his first coffee farm in the Cerrado Mineiro region, naming it after this lots namesake at an altitude of 1150 metres. Bringing the dream of producing food on a large scale, Inácio became on of the largest agricultural producers in the country and today, along with his sons, members of the second generation, they present Rio Brilhante Café de Origem. In 2017 they won 1st Place in the Cerrado Coffee Japan contest of quality. They also won 2nd Place at the Rainforest/Imaflora contest in the natural category and took 3rd Place in the regional contest of Cerrado Mineiro in the natural category as well.
