Tuinuane Natural - DR Congo

The Underdog of Kivu: Resilience in Every Sip This coffee shouldn’t exist, but we are absolutely stoked it does. Grown in the heart of the "red zone" in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this Red Bourbon survived armed occupation, displacement, and drought to make it to your cup. While others stayed away, the farmers of the Tuinuane and Amka Cooperatives never stopped hand-selecting every cherry at altitudes reaching 2,050 meters. This isn't just specialty coffee; it’s a defiant act of hope from the shores of Lake Kivu. With a massive cup score of +87, this is a heavy hitter that brings serious complexity. We’ve landed this natural nanolot that is just pure indulgence. Think rich dried fruit, smooth caramel, and berry sweetness, layered with honey and a subtle almond/amaretto finish. It’s round, comforting, zesty and just a little bit luxurious—without losing clarity.
