Started on a smallholding in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands in 2005 by Trevor Forbes, Terbodore roasts in a converted dairy on the Midlands Meander tourist route. Their Black Forest blend has become a fixture in upmarket Joburg and Durban cafés, and the on-site roastery doubles as a destination tasting room. One of the few major SA roasters that's not based in Cape Town or Joburg.
