Owned by Armando and Andrea Costa, and their daughter Bruna, Fazenda Barrinha has been in the Costa family for three generations. Situated between 800 and 1,000 meters above sea level in the Mogiana region of Brazil, the farm has 30% native vegetation preserved, encouraging lots of activity from animals and birds native to the area. Fruits and vegetables are also grown on the farm, which farm manager Fabiana uses in her cooking for the many international industry guests that stay on the farm every year. Armando Costa has been in the coffee industry for over 40 years, producing and exporting coffee, and has been joined by his daughter, Bruna, who has built her career internationally and joined the family business to showcase these incredible family coffees, as well as coffees from friends in the region. Bruna has built Bossa Coffee to connect roasters with these coffees, and it is through this connection that we are delighted to present Barrinha as a beautifully clean and sweet espresso in the Thomson's line up.
