Kericho AB
12.7 GBP
Once cherries are sorted and pulped, they are left to ferment in a bed of water for 12 hours. Once drained, the ferment is repeated two more times, then rinsed through the classic washing channels and dried on raised beds until ideal moisture is reached. Kericho is produced by Lot20, whose name comes from their initial goal of exporting 20 bags of Kenyan coffee to the UK. They've come an exceptionally long way from their 2019 pitch, now working with a wide range of farmers across Kenya, and exporting many lots consistently to the UK. Founder Sidney Kibet is always striving for more – meeting farmers, working with washing stations and pushing the boundaries of coffee processing and new fermentations, planting more coffee trees and ensuring feedback reaches all the right places. Sidney is a familiar face to the UK coffee scene, and we're glad to have Sidney's coffees in our offering.
