Amsterdam specialty roaster started by two surf-and-coffee-obsessed friends who began sourcing beans on surf trips and turned it into a roastery in De Pijp. Badeta buys direct from small-scale producers — Peralta in Nicaragua, Vargas in Brazil, Gutiérrez in El Salvador — pays a transparent premium for sustainable farming, and roasts twice weekly. Every bag ships with an origin card; the lineup balances a flagship Badeta Blend with rotating single-origin lots from Ethiopia, Colombia and Peru.
