Café Altura was founded by Peruvian entrepreneur Segundo Tello, who started with a wooden espresso cart in Santiago's La Vega Central market before growing into six cafés and an in-house roasting plant. The roastery is known for showcasing Peruvian-origin beans alongside coffees from Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Africa.
