A GLOBAL COFFEE AWARD WINNING COFFEE This coffee is really important and close to us as a roaster. Produced by ‘Melky’ Chávez in Nariño, Colombia, at his family farm. This is a 'big coffee' with complexity and juicy berry notes. A real beauty. This is the 16th crop in a row we've purchased from Melky, direct through our CRAFTSTACK™ Branded Sacks initiative. This aims to ensure our favourite coffees are relationship sourced, with longevity and commitment, both with the farmer and our green coffee partners at origin. El Muro received a Olympic-level Bronze Medal at the Global Coffee Awards (Europe) in the 'single origin espresso' category. This is testament to our long term relationship with 'Melky' in Colombia, and we're so pleased for him and his family to get the recognition they deserve.
