Giyanti Coffee Roastery was opened in late 2012 by Hendrik Halianto in a small space on Jalan Surabaya in Menteng, Central Jakarta. The roastery sources Arabica beans directly from farmers across West Java, Toraja, Sumatra, Flores and Bali, and its name means "Java State."
