Founded in 2015 by Mateo Gonzalez and Carlos Moral (son of Rafa Moral, founder of Spanish coffee importer Mare Terra), Hidden Coffee Roasters opened its first cafe in Les Corts, Barcelona in 2016 and now roasts on a 30kg Giesen roaster installed in 2023, traveling to Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, Nicaragua, and El Salvador to develop experimental processing lots.
