Methodical Coffee was founded in 2015 by David Baker, Marco Suarez, and Will Shurtz in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The trio — a designer, a roaster, and a barista — built Methodical on an every-detail-considered ethos that extends from packaging design to a Loring S15 Falcon production roaster in their West Greenville facility. Methodical operates three cafés across Greenville and was named one of Garden & Gun's Best Southern Coffee Roasters. The team sources direct from producers in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Honduras.
