Nozy Coffee was opened in 2010 in Setagaya, Tokyo by Masataka Nojo as one of the city's first specialty coffee shops, committing to single-origin coffee rather than the blends common at the time. A larger roastery location, The Roastery by Nozy Coffee, later opened on Cat Street between Shibuya and Harajuku through a collaboration with TY Harbor.
