Onyx Coffee Lab was founded in 2012 by Jon and Andrea Allen in Northwest Arkansas, and has become one of the most decorated competition roasters in the United States. The team has placed at the US Brewers Cup, US Barista Championship and World Brewers Cup finals across the last decade, including the 2022 US Barista Champion. The flagship roastery in Rogers houses production, a coffee bar, and a dedicated training lab, with additional cafés in Bentonville, Fayetteville and Springdale. Onyx is best known for ultra-clean, high-scoring light-roast single origins and the Monarch and Southern Weather blends.
