One of the OG South African specialty operators — Richard Williams started Quaffee in 2003 with a particular obsession for Kenyan AA lots. The shop has a deeply nerdy bent: bag-by-bag tasting notes, equipment reviews, a rotating Quaffee of the Month subscription, and a serious grinder and espresso machine retail line.
