This stunning Nicaraguan Coffee from the super Mercanta is a wonderful Central American find, and a Salford favourite origin. We have added the perfect Nicaragua 'finca San Antonio' medium roast profile (award winning) to this coffee meaning it is a delicious omni-roast: perfect on espresso and juicy on filter! Like the soon to be back with us San Antonio coffee, this washed Cafetos Dipilto (Segovia dept.) coffee is clean, sweet and full of flavour and nutty goodness. It is bold and strong bodied on espresso with a mild acidity. Tate note wise, it is full of caramel and macadamia, giving a honey and marshmallow feel to the cup with a buttery mouthfeel. On filter it is fruit forward and juicy orange coming to the fore, giving it an acidity that doesn't offend. Smooth with a touch of fig and marzipan when paired with milk this is a coffee perfect for customer who doesn't want 'too much jazz' but at the same time wants a stunningly smooth sip.
