Tandem Coffee Roasters was founded in 2012 by Will and Kathleen Pratt — Will a former Stumptown green buyer, Kathleen a James Beard Award-nominated baker — in Portland, Maine. The Anderson Street roastery and East Bayside bakery-café occupy a restored 1880s firehouse and have become Portland's most-recognized coffee destination. The company sources direct from Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, and Honduras and runs an in-house pastry programme. Signature offerings include the Time and Temperature blend.
