Founded in 2018 in Taipei's Eastern District by Chad Wang, who won the World Brewers Cup in 2017 as the first Taiwanese champion, at age 29. The name VWI stands for vapor, water and ice, the three forms water takes in coffee brewing; the brand now operates four cafes in Taiwan.
