96B Cafe & Roastery was founded in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016 by Hana Chai with her husband Cong Nguyen, growing from a cosy space above a pastry shop; co-owner Thai Dang joined in 2020 and led its rebrand to 96B Cafe & Roastery. It has become known for working with rare Vietnamese coffee varieties, especially Liberica, sourced and processed domestically, and has expanded into exporting green beans.
