Lacaph was founded in January 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City by Timen Swijtink, a longtime Vietnam resident, and Korean coffee professional Scott Sehoon Bahng. After visiting plantations across four provinces to source beans, the pair began roasting Signature Blends for phin, filter and espresso to introduce Vietnamese coffee culture to a global audience.
