Marie Nakao, a third-generation coffee producer, became involved in coffee farming after her husband’s passing in 2013. She assumed a leadership role, becoming an inspiration to women in agriculture. The farm embraced best practices, sustainability, and transparency, navigating the coffee industry’s challenges and is the standard bearer for regenerative farming practices within Brazilian coffee. With coffee grown above 1,000 meters above sea level and an average temperature of 20.2°C, Catanduva consistently produces outstanding quality coffee year after year. This is thanks to terroir, meticulous pre- and post-harvest care, various processing methods, and and unwavering passion for quality. Roast Level: medium dark We roast the Catanduva to a medium dark level to really bring out the dark chocolate notes. It is a firm favourite with espresso drinkers and for filter coffee lovers looking for an introduction to speciality coffee.
