Cafe Lumbus is a Specialty coffee company, producing, sourcing and exporting specialty green coffee from Colombia. Their coffee-producing traditions and stories trace back more than 100 years back. With a focus on building great and healthy partnerships that can be sustained for decades. Sugarcane ethyl acetate (E.A.) processing, commonly referred to as natural decaffeination, starts with a gentle decaffeination process with steam and ethyl acetate (a natural side product from the sugar and wine fermentation) – to leave the high-quality beans with a full flavour profile. This decaf coffee is a direct replacement for our very popular Magdelana decaf which we are certain you will enjoy. It has amazing flavour and consistency. We recommend as a starting point try 18g of coffee for a 38g shot in around 28 seconds. Expect a full bodied, rich espresso with good complexity. For use as a filter coffee, either pour over or cafetiere, we recommend a ratio of 30g of coffee per 500ml of water. Roast Level: medium A medium roasted coffee that will please both espresso and filter drinkers
