Most of Vietnam's coffee production can be found in the Central Highlands. Vietnam is the largest producer of Robusta in the world and so what little Arabica is grown in the country comes primarily from the Lam Dong province, where the K’No people are located. Dung K’No, home to the K’No people, is a community of around 500 households. Their main income source is agriculture and for a lot of families farming is the only source of cash income. Other crops may include rice, maize vegetables and fruit trees such as bananas and peaches; however, these are mainly reserved for personal consumption. Similarly, small scale farming of pigs, chicken and cattle are kept to provide sustenance. This coffee is a fully washed Catimor grown at 1.500 masl by around 180 smallholder farmers. It works well as a nutty filter and also a juicy espresso. Tasting notes: Pecans, Choc, Herbs, Butter, Honey, Pomelo, Mohnzelten, Lemon, Banana
