Industry Beans was founded in 2010 by brothers Trevor and Steve Simmons and opened its flagship Fitzroy roastery-café on Rose Street in 2013 — a glass-walled hybrid where customers can watch the team roast while they drink. They've since expanded to Collins Street and Flinders Lane in the CBD, and Surry Hills in Sydney. Industry Beans is known for an experimental menu (carbonic-maceration espressos, nitro-aged single-origins) and a strong wholesale program.
