Single Origin Roasters (Single O) opened in Surry Hills in 2003 and is one of Sydney's defining third-wave roasters. The Reservoir Street café and Botany roastery anchor a national wholesale program, plus outposts in Tokyo and a flagship in Haymarket. Single O is a long-running supporter of producer programs in Ethiopia, Indonesia and Honduras, and runs a transparent annual report on its sourcing. The Killer Bee espresso blend and rotating Smarty Pants filter range are mainstays.
