XLIII Coffee began in Da Nang in 2018 (with its cafe and roastery opening in 2019) under founder Le Dac Thanh as 43 Factory Coffee Roaster, taking its name from the first digits on Da Nang license plates. The brand expanded to Ho Chi Minh City and Hoi An in 2022 and was rebranded XLIII Coffee in May 2023.
