Geisha is one of the most prized and aromatic coffee varieties in the world, and it shines here in a meticulous white honey process. After harvest, the cherries were floated to remove defects, then fermented for 48 hours. During depulping, just a tiny amount of fruit was left in contact with the seed — the signature of the white honey method — before the coffee dried slowly over 14 days. The result is a cup that keeps the clarity of a washed coffee while gaining a rounder, honeyed sweetness. How to Brew Colombia Finca La Roca Geisha Filter Brewing ratio: 1 : 17 Ground coffee: 16g Total water: 250ml Water temperature: 93°C Brew time: 3 minutes If the cup tastes thin or sour, grind a touch finer; if it turns bitter or dry, grind coarser and keep your water at 93°C. How Much Coffee Is in a Bag? At 16g per cup, a 150g bag makes around 9 cups, a 500g bag around 31 cups, and a 1kg bag around 62 cups. With Geisha this rare, most brewers savour it slowly — a small pour-over to enjoy every fragrant cup. Frequently Asked Questions Is this coffee better for espresso or filter? Filter. This light-roast Geisha is built for pour-over and other filter methods, where its pineapple, peach and vanilla notes and delicate body come through clearly. What does it taste like?
