Partners Coffee — originally founded in 2007 as Toby's Estate by Toby Smith in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — rebranded to Partners in 2018 to reflect its independence from the Australian Toby's Estate operation. The roastery on N 10th Street in Williamsburg supplies cafés across Manhattan and Brooklyn and was an early adopter of single-origin espresso in the US market. The brand has been featured in James Beard semifinalist nominations and has trained baristas who have placed at the US Barista Championship.
